Creamy Turmeric Pasta Sauce


| Sauce for 3-4 pasta dishes |Soaking nuts: overnight | Making the sauce: 10 minutes |



  • 100g soaked cashews
  • 100g soaked almonds
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 100g water
  • 1/2 lemon (Juice)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth. This might take about 5 minutes. The more you soak the nuts, the easier it will be to blend everything together and obtain a creamy texture.

Slowly add water if the consistency is too thick (aka the blender is blending air).

Taste (always), add salt if needed.

Enjoy with your favorite pasta, zoodles, as a toast spread or even as a veggie dip for your appetizers!
